CALL ME PAI

As a former professional Polynesian dancer, I grew up with a passion for creative storytelling. The choreography and craft. The energy of performing on a live stage. The ability to captivate complete strangers by introducing them to a culture unfamiliar to their own — my culture.

Now I’ll be honest, while spinning a fire knife around my half-naked body and trying not to burn myself or the home of the person that hired me, the last thing I was thinking about is how these skills might one day be transferable to a career in advertising.

But captivating audiences with entertainment and education, living for that moment in a crowded room where all eyes are on me and my team, and sharing a part of myself with every creative expression… I’ve been preparing for this role my entire life.

Now I get to help brands tell their stories and to connect with all new communities. Best of all, I get to keep my clothes on.

If you have any questions about my work, ad experience, non-ad experience, or if you're looking for a fire dancer to perform at your kid's bar mitzvah, you can email me at: josh.paialii@gmail.com
